2026 Skoda Kushaq Facelift Debuts on 2026: Price & Features

As someone who spends hours evaluating spec sheets and real-world performance for the Indian market, I can tell you the upcoming 2026 Skoda Kushaq facelift isn’t just a cosmetic touch-up. Ahead of the official price reveal on March 21, 2026, data sourced directly from Skoda Auto and industry trackers like Autocar India shows this update tackles major mechanical and technological gaps in the fiercely competitive mid-size SUV segment. Expected to be priced between ₹10.59 lakh and ₹19.5 lakh (ex-showroom), the new Kushaq ditches vague marketing promises of “enhanced driving dynamics” for hard, quantifiable upgrades that you will actually feel behind the wheel.

Klaus Zellmer, CEO of Škoda Auto, contextualized the launch strategy by stating, “This update incorporates Modern Solid design elements as well as a broad range of advances from the infotainment and driver assistance features, offering even greater comfort and safety.” For you, that means a vehicle that relies on mechanical substance rather than just a flashy new grille.

Skoda Kushaq Facelift Engine and Performance

You get the same trusted engines, and that is actually good news.

In real driving, the 1.0L engine is smooth and easy for city use. It feels light and does not stress you in traffic. The 1.5L engine is where things get fun. It pulls strong on highways and feels confident while overtaking. I have driven this engine before, and it never feels underpowered. Fuel saving tech like cylinder deactivation also helps during long drives.
